Botox for Men in Reno

A more rested look. Still unmistakably you.

Soften the frown lines, forehead lines or crow’s feet that make you look more tense or tired than you feel. At Bella Derma, your treatment starts with your goals, your facial movement and a personal assessment—not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Led by May Belle Fellenz, APRN, MSN, FNP-BC · 775-300-9862

You choose the goal. We assess the plan.

You may want to look less stern in photographs, soften lines around your eyes, or feel more comfortable with your appearance. You do not need to arrive knowing the product, the dose or the injection points.

Frown lines

The vertical lines between the brows can create a tense expression. May assesses muscle activity and your goals before recommending treatment.

Forehead & crow’s feet

Discuss horizontal forehead lines and lines around the outer eyes, alongside your brow position and the expression you want to retain.

YOUR PROVIDER

Meet May Belle Fellenz

APRN, MSN, FNP-BC
Founder and lead medical aesthetics provider at Bella Derma.

Your consultation is a conversation about what you want to change—and what you want to keep. May reviews your health history, assesses your face at rest and in motion, and explains the options before you decide.

Clear pricing before you commit.

Botox®

$650 / 50 units

$600 for your first visit

A consultation determines whether Botox is appropriate and which areas to treat.

Xeomin®

$550 / 50 units

$500 for your first visit

Ask May about this alternative and which product fits your treatment plan.

50-unit minimum purchase. Your clinical dose is individualized; the purchase minimum does not mean everyone should receive 50 units. Botox and Xeomin units are product-specific and are not interchangeable. Confirm your recommended plan and total cost at your consultation.

A thoughtful first appointment.

01 · Talk it through

Share what bothers you, your preferences about movement and brow shape, and any upcoming events. Review previous injectables, medications, allergies and relevant medical conditions.

02 · Make a personal plan

May examines your expression and discusses treatment areas, product, dose, expected results, possible side effects and cost. You can ask questions before deciding.

03 · Treatment & aftercare

Injections may feel like brief pinpricks. You receive aftercare guidance specific to your treatment; temporary redness, tenderness, swelling or bruising can occur.

04 · Let results develop

Changes can begin within a few days, with assessment commonly around two weeks. Effects are temporary and often last about three to four months; individual timing varies.

What to know before treatment.

Botox Cosmetic is a prescription treatment. It may not be appropriate if you have an infection at the intended injection site or an allergy to the product or another botulinum toxin product. Tell May about muscle or nerve conditions, swallowing or breathing problems, medications, and any recent botulinum toxin treatment.

Possible effects include bruising, headache, eyelid or brow drooping and other reactions. Rare serious effects can include difficulty swallowing, speaking or breathing; seek immediate medical help if these occur. A consultation covers the risks and whether treatment is appropriate for you.

Questions men ask before Botox.

Your goals guide the plan. Tell May how much movement you want to retain and what you like about your current appearance. Treatment can soften expression lines, but results vary and no specific look can be guaranteed.

No. Dose is based on the muscles being treated, their activity, your anatomy, medical history and the intended result. Gender alone is not a dosing plan.

Bring up brow position, eyelid heaviness or asymmetry during your consultation. Forehead movement and the muscles around the brows need to be assessed together; simply treating every visible line is not the goal.

Allow time for treatment to develop and for possible bruising or swelling to settle. For a first treatment, discuss your event date with May before choosing an appointment rather than booking immediately before it.

The 50-unit minimum is a purchase policy. Your clinical dose and treatment areas must be determined through an individual assessment. Ask how the minimum applies to your proposed plan before paying; it is not a recommendation to inject 50 units into everyone.

Botox temporarily reduces muscle activity; it does not replace lost volume or correct every line visible at rest. Jaw-muscle treatment is a separate, off-label discussion and may alter facial shape. It should not be added automatically to a cosmetic upper-face plan.

Many people return to routine activities, but injection marks, tenderness, swelling or bruising can occur. Follow May’s personalized aftercare instructions and discuss work, exercise and travel plans at your appointment.

Start with a conversation.

First time considering Botox? Start with a consultation at Bella Derma in South Reno. You do not need to arrive with a chosen product or a unit count. Explain the expression you want to soften, the features you want to preserve, and any work or event plans.
