May brings more than a decade of nursing experience across hospital and clinical settings to every aesthetic consultation at Bella Derma Skin Care Solutions in Reno. Her background includes oncology, behavioral health, primary care, palliative care, and COVID-era inpatient care.
Her approach to aesthetic medicine is deliberately personal: listen first, assess carefully, and recommend only what supports the patient's goals, natural features, and long-term skin health.

May became a nurse because she believed she could make a meaningful difference in people's quality of life. Medical aesthetics gave her another way to do that—by helping patients feel more confident while still approaching care through a clinical lens.
Before opening Bella Derma in September 2025, she served as a Nurse Practitioner and Lead Medical Aesthetics Provider at one of the largest medspas in the country from September 2021 through August 2025, refining her experience in injectables, laser aesthetics, and individualized treatment planning.
Bella Derma grew from May's desire to bring medical judgment, thoughtful artistry, continual learning, and real human connection into one practice. The goal is never to make someone look like somebody else—it is to help each patient feel confident in their own skin.
